I am happy to share details on the Tekumel event I am planning to run on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Con of the North, from 2-6 PM.

I will be using the FATE system to run the game.

“Raid on the Temple of Vimulha”   SUN 14-18 slot
There’s a hostage to rescue, a book to “recover”, and untold treasures beneath the temple of the fire god in the city of Katalal! But are YOU brave enough to face the greatest warriors on Tekumel? Come and experience the rich and exotic “Swords and Planet” setting of Tekumel, the Empire of the Petal Throne. No previous Tekumel experience required!

  1. Please consider posting a write-up of the adventure. I would love to run this for my players as well. Good luck.

  2. And, I suppose, you'll be wanting miniatures to go with the beautiful full-color 'battlemat'-style floor plans of the Temple?

Sheesh! Why us? Why is it always us? You'd think we keep lots of loot, rare and exotic tomes of forbidden sorcery, and helpless prisoners just lying around for the taking. (Well, we do, but that's besides the point.) Why don't you knock off the Temple of Ksarul, anyway; they have lots more loot then we do, here at the Temple of Vimuhla, and they're more antisocial types anyway... :)

  3. Raiding a temple of Lord Ksarul (or Lord Gruganu) is simply unthinkable. I can't imagine how someone could do such a thing, or even consider it! Now Lord Vimuhla, well, his followers are well know to be antisocial and destructive. Wars, hostage taking, constant sacrifices. It makes me shudder. Do they read? I have no idea.

BUT, a certain follower of Lord Vimuhla named Chirine, he is a different story. He is legendary for his commitment "To serve the Petal Throne" and prepares miniatures and battlemaats suitable for our raids. I have even seen the ancient miniatures painting guide that he edited in the ancient times...a noble personage is he!
